The ROTHCO vintage N-3B Parka what I like. the parka is solid heavy cotton nice and long with waist draw cords to close it off from the elements it has a soft warm inner hood and fluffy faux fur ruff on the hood and plenty of it. the parka does run true to size. I bought mine one size up because I want a loose fit and you do NOT want a snug parka put it on adjust the waist cords zip it up your body heat will take care of the rest. you want to be able to move in your parka. NOW here is what I do not like. the zipper pocket /pen pocket on the sleeve is placed incorrectly. it is placed at inner bicep with zipper facing down rather than outer bicep with zipper facing up. where you would expect it to be. anything you put in there will fall right out when opened. also all the pockets are very small and not insulated at all. so do not expect to warm your hands in them. otherwise it is a pretty nice parka probably best quality for the price. I will be replacing the faux fur ruff with real Coyote or Wolf fur and removing and repositioning the sleeve zipper /pen pocket and I have a few patches to iron on.
