First time using Talley scope mounts but it won't be the last. I have always used another well known but expensive brand but not any more. These mounts went on my new Ruger American easily. You can adjust them to fit the length of the scope and your eye relief with no problem at all. The person who recommended them to me was right on the money about how easily they installed and how well they fit the curvature of the barrel. Optics Planet came through again with an excellent price on a quality product.

Leupold VX-2 2-7x28mm Ultralight Rifle Scope
Put this scope on my new Ruger American Ranch in 300 blackout. Works perfectly. Could not be any clearer. Zeroed scope in 3 shots at 100 yards with all 3 shots on a nickel. Windage and elevation knobs are crisp and tight and do not move. Scope is extremely light and you barely notice it on the rifle. Finish is excellent. Reticle is sharp and easily focused even for one whose sight is not near what it use to be. Will be getting another for my 243.

Have three of them. Very comfortable and hold up extremely well. No odor. Well made and will bring many compliments as to how they add to the looks of the rifle. Goes great on standard rifle as well as tactical. They do not slide off your shoulder and they dry quickly after getting wet. I like them especially because they are very quiet on the weapon. They have a thumb loop which is very handy when carrying the rifle. A little on the expensive side but you definitely get what you pay for with this sling.
