Best of the lot - must have is a Odin 9mm adjustable buffer and a kitchen scale. Run this as heavy as you can and single shots are natural. Super reliable, no malformation on the hammer after a few k rounds. Excellent. A true "video game" style trigger in every regard. Buy them while you can!

I was just recommending this pack to a friend and I figured OP would have reviews I could show him as well - and to my surprise - this pack had none.
I have had this backpack in CB since 2007. As of this review, 13 years in total, four years active duty, two deployments and used daily by me for everything. Through my deployments, and years active duty in the infantry, I never used my assault pack because this was frankly better in every way. I regularly had this stuffed to the brim with munitions (the bomb dogs love to sniff my pack), usually exceeding 70+ lbs of gear and hauled this pack thousands of miles by foot. Never once have these zippers failed, never once have has this fabric torn and or failed in any way and I still have ALL of the original buckles on her. This pack is sun-bleached, stained with sweat and blood, and broken in just right. I would love to upload some pictures - OP if you want them I got em'.
This is and will continue to be, my daily hauler of everything I need from a trip to the range, a day hike, stuffing groceries for the cruise home or the bag I grab when life starts falling apart around us. This will be the one backpack that will replace all of your others - and needless to say - they back their products and will repair or replace it.
Buy with confidence.

The only thing you really gain with this is a quieter cycling. It really bothers me that you have to compress them to close the upper and the lower, because in the directions, you remove the buffer retainer and spring. I fired it both ways, and they weight far more than a regular buffer and spring configuration. Personally - I like the raspy sound it makes, and I have sent back both of these items. IMHO - go with a standard buffer and spring and put the money into something else.

When you look at the cost of a complete BCG, adjustable gas block and gas tube, this is only slightly more expensive and worth absolutely every penny. I will be converting my other ARs over as soon as the cash is free. Also - look up their kits that come with a free handguard - it will save you money. I will be using these on all of my future builds, and the ease of adjusting the gas block for suppressed fire is astonishing. I wonder why anyone would go DI after using one of their systems!

Unbelievable. Seriously.
Carried an M16A3 / M16A4 / M4A1 in the USMC - and I never liked burst fire. Two rounds on target, last was up in the air and seemingly unpredictable. With this system, the semi auto is absolutely wonderful and very comparable to Timney or BRO drop in trigger. Binary mode just gives you a second round on the release and it is very accurate. I am buying more of these and I would pick one of these up over any more expensive drop in trigger.

Bought a Faxon barrel - forgot to order the bolt. Ordered this, checked the head spacing, and it worked perfectly. Very happy with it and will continue to buy Faxon products. Note - if you are using this with the Adams Arms piston kit, as I did, remember to take off the rings!

Great idea - works okay. The problem with this versus a standard retainer is that it is easily too wide, or so narrow that it can fall out. I took my rifle out today and fired roughly 1500 rounds, and when I took my bolt out for cleaning, it literally fell out. I am not sure if it broke or something else, but when I place it in originally, it retained perfectly. I am going to play with it some more tomorrow and see what could have happened. I have a regular spare that I will be using in the mean time and I am not sure if these are actually worth buying over a traditional retainer.

Unfortunately - I wasn't impressed. The internal latch caused drag inside of rifle, almost making it more difficult to pull the charging handle to the rear. I love the idea - and I think it has a lot of potential - but I feel like if someone made that latch into say, a ball that could roll as it was pull to the rear, that it would reduce the drag and make it feel more traditional. For the price - I would rather have a traditional charging handle with a latch. Returned.
