Parker Smith from United States, TX Public Profile
The HUXWRX Blastphemy is by no means and game changer or a complete night and day difference for reducing sound. However, there was a noticeble difference in felt concussion when shooting an 11.5 inch 5.56 SBR.
All that obnoxiousness is now channeled away from the shooter.
Plus, it helps protects threads on QD muzzle devices.
I have one of these on each of my 5.56 rifles. HUXWRX is nice because the suppressor actually tightens when fired. No worries with the can backing off.
Once you shoot a drop in trigger, you'll hate mil spec type triggers! Rise Armament triggers are top notch. These have zero take-up, so if you're used to that it may take some getting used to. However, the break is clean and shoots nice. Both of my AR's have this trigger.
PRI has proven to be the best magazine brand for those running a 6.8 SPC caliber AR platform. I've had feeding issues with both ASC and Duramag magazines. PRI checks all the blocks for functionality.
This optic went on my AR chambered in 6.8 SPC. Only after purchasing did I realize that this is a Gen 1 Viper PST, and I thought I would be unhappy with my purchase. However, I couldn't be happier.
Picture brightness is good. I was able to see clearly right up until just after sunset. Finger clicks on the turrets are really good and pronounced.
I love the way my rifles shoot with this Spikes buffer assembly. Both my AR's have it, my 6.8 spc and my 5.56. You just cant beat how smooth the recoil is, and without any spring noise.
Bottom line, up front: Rounds would not cycle after installing this stock onto my Ruger Ranch chambered in .300 Blackout.
I discovered that this is a known issue after I had already purchased this stock. Which is a shame because I've always assumed that Magpul products will just work, no matter
When attempting to cycle rounds into the chamber, the rounds hang up and jam against the feed ramp. Almost like the magazine sits too low in relation to the chamber. After switching back to the ruger stock; zero issues cycling.
