I have never used a Shaw barrel but after having watched several videos on how well they preformed on other 22 ARC builds I decided to give them a try. First things first it was easy to install and after torquing everything down to spec I took it out to the range to perform Shaw's barrel break-in procedure. Upon completing the break-in procedure this rifle is a Hammer. At 100 yards I was shooting consistently the shot groups that were all connected and could be happier with this barrel.

I have a couple of FAB stocks. The ones I like are the ones that hold the spare mag. I use them to easily transition from suppressed rounds to sonic rounds quickly when I needed. With that being said I recently bought another FAB stock; however this one uses the same "adjustable" cheek piece as this stock. The problem is at it's lowest setting it takes you above the sight picture of the scope all together even with a raised scope mount. Plus the adjustability is super sketchy to say the least. What I mean by that is you aren't able to dial in your elevation like you would expect to be able to do. Instead you are forced to chose one of the preset elevations, none of which worked for me. In the end I was forced to remove the raised cheek piece and set it aside which was a total waste of money. Don't waste your money on this bad design if you want a adjustable cheek piece get one that you can dial in to whatever elevation that suits you.
