BA Hanson 16 inch .750 gasblock

Written on Sep 13, 2024

I'm no expert on AR barrels but I'm very pleased with the accuracy of this Barrel. After assembling an AR from 90% Wilson Combat parts I ended up buying this barrel instead of a WC and combined with a Ta31 acog the accuracy is amazing I'm hitting 1.25 moa and sub moa at 100 yards depending on ammunition I use some black tip Sabre 75 grain 2700fps that got sub moa and 223 55 grain I got 1.25 I will keep trying other ammo but so far I'm pleased with this barrel

Easy installation but extra weight

Written on May 30, 2024

This almost makes your AK look like it has real Zenitco which is way overpriced ATM so why not spend around $600-700 for all 3 parts instead buying 1 part. I enjoy the look but don't care for the added weight so I'd recommend you buy the short handguard so the weight isn't as bad since the guns weight is over 10 lbs with the extended one, other than that I thought it would be a pain in the buttocks to install but it took around 20-30 min so not bad plus the added weight will help with recoil if that was ever a problem to begin with, my only issue is it looks slightlytoo bulky. Overall I am pleased with Midwest industries again and am happy that they are getting into the AK accessories market.

Same pic/sling as another site

Written on Jan 27, 2024

Besides one minor thing that the picture doesn't have which is the quick detached clip that is above the QD swivel which another website has the same picture this is a great sling I bought one from another site that was OD Green and I gave that site a four-star review since it had the same picture so that was the only minor issue I had with this besides that it's made in America and a great quality material sling it will last you a while I've had one for almost a year that is why I bought two one black and one Wolf grey for my other rifles. If you are looking for a budget friendly sling made in America that has a minor picture error but everything else is great quality I recommend these slings.

Worth the price

I bought this since i prefer to DIY most of the parts i buy for my firearms and so far it hasn't let me down. I like how easily you can ajust and see how much torque you are using compared to others ive used before, if you are looking for a torque set look no further its worth every cent.

Easy installation

After months of looking for an adapter so I can replace my stock for a clone Zenitco stock and after recently looking through Optics Planet I finally found the adapter and a clone stock that Midwest Industries makes I placed my back order about 2 weeks before it shipped out I thought I was going to have to wait longer but it was delivered in about 2 to 3 weeks. The insulation for both parts was very easy it took about 20 minutes to do both that includes changing which way the stock folded and I am very pleased with it the cheek riser works very well I was able to put my magnified prism scope and the cheek riser helps with getting the perfect eye relief for that optic. I highly recommend this stock and buy before they go back on back order cuz who knows how long you're going to have to wait

I got what I paid for

This is my first optic so don't take this expert advice but I'm mounted this to my AR-15 with the Romeo Green Dot Predator sight since out of my three options this gave me the best clear sight after adjusting the diopter and the option to make the reticle bigger or smaller. I took it to the range and after zeroing in my Green Dot I put about 120 rounds with this magnifier and it's working great the only issues that I had when I first mounted this was having to adjust the diopter and the option to make the reticle smaller because the clarity of the magnifier was blurry until I adjusted to my preference and I recently purchased and placed some backup flip iron sights so I had to move the magnifier slightly up and now I'm getting a quicker and clearer sight so i recommend to you to mount it in multiple places until you find that perfect spot for you and don't be afraid of adjusting anything on this magnifier if you plan on buying

Budget friendly red dot with pros & cons

Written on Jun 25, 2023

When I recieved my package and unboxed this red dot I went ahead and compared to it my Romeo 5 and I like the quality of the glass and red dot compared to the Romeo but don't like that it's slightly taller than the Romeo cause I can't run my rear flip up sight I have but it does with the Romeo. I tried changing the mount that the Romeo has with the Vortex but it still didn't help but will still keep for another weapon. The brightness levels are not that great in indoors you can barely see the dot in 5th setting at night and 6 or 7 in the day depending on how bright it is so I keep at 8 no matter what since 9-11 are way too bright of settings, btw the Romeo has a similar problem but has a better option of turning on/off and adjusting brightness. The quality of the Vortex looks just as good as the Romeo I think they are made of similar material but I might be wrong. Zeroing this red dot was easy it took about 3-4 shots and am happy with this purchase since you do get the lifetime warranty so will recommend. Ps have extra batteries jic you get a doa

Easy installation and smooth trigger pull

Written on Jun 18, 2023

Since my Mosin nagant original stock was breaking for some odd reason to the point that it can spear the person it would break on and after looking at multiple stock options I ended up buying an Archangel stock so the timney trigger installation was easy that it took less than 10 min. I dry fired it and after going to the range and putting 30 rounds thru it I highly recommend this trigger and I think I have mine on 1.5 pounds since the pull is super smooth on top of that you get a safety feature, my only issue is the trigger cost more than the gun itself $97 but so did the stock lol
