Not Bad At All

Written on Nov 27, 2020

Gloves work really well. The fit is tight and comfortable to shoot in. The heat resistance is good enough more me to remove the suppressor from my rifle while still hot. The tag was a bit annoying, so I cut it off. Other than that, the gloves are the best shooting gloves I have ever used.

Simply the Best

I live in Alaska and this functioned without fail during the cold cold winter. I even went shooting during a hail storm and there were no issues with foggy lenses or anything. There was no waterproofing issues either. Great product.

How to Install

Written on Nov 08, 2015

This tip replaces the factory tip on the ASP Talon Baton, but it did not come with install instructions. There is not much documentation regarding this item online. Not even a picture on this site. I contacted the manufacture for basic info and devised the following instillation:
1. Remove the factory tip by holding it over a candle (or other heat source) for 1 minute. This helps break down the loctite used on the threads.
2. Wrap several layers of duct tape around the tip. Also wrap several layers of duct tape around the shaft near the tip. This tape will protect the baton from scratches during step 3.
3. Use two pairs of pliers, one on each section of tape, to twist off the tip.
4. Once the tip is removed, clean the loctite from inside the shaft.
5. Now apply new loctite to the BreakAway tip threads and screw it into the shaft.
6. If you remove the cap and red rubber seal on the BreakAway tip you will see a small hole.
7. I inserted a small hex key/Allen wrench into this hole to use as leverage (instead of the second pair of pliers) to screw the BreakAway into place.
8. Once installed, wipe away any extra loctite and remove all the tape. Clean the tape residue and put some oil on the shafts.
9. Put the red seal and cap back on and you are ready to go.

Overall, the install was easy and the product is well made. Even the little hole in the tip made it easy to use a wrench and twist it on. I have not smashed any windows yet but the design and materials used

Glock 22 Gen 4 Lasermax

Written on Jun 29, 2015

This was my first guide rod laser and so far so good. Easy to install and shot 300 rds with no malfunctions. I live in Alaska and will have to wait until winter to see how the laser holds up in extreme cold, but summer weather proved no problem. I was very happy that the laser still allowed me to use my holster.
