Just as good as any high end micro mount. Rock solid and is the correct height for Lower 1/3rd. Just as good as Geissele or ADM

I prefer these black Arisaka Scout light bodies over Modlites. The lines are cleaner and the anodizing is much more of a matte vs the Modlite which has more of a sheen. Plus they're cheaper by about $25. Would definitely recommend!

Received my second MK3 light head this morning. Arrived in excellent shape, until I dropped it... I was unscrewing it from an Arisaka body and when it got to the last thread, the spring pressure in the head made it kind of pop out and it slipped out of my hand and landed on the concrete. Made a small mark on the bezel but it still works. Beam pattern looks exactly like my other MK3. If only I could afford a MK6 with 90,000 candela I'd be even happier

Got mine in today. Arisaka 18350 body, Modlite clicky tailcap and Modlite IMR 18350 battery. Just got done playing with it outside in the dark.The high candela throws a super bright and far reaching center beam, similar to the modlite plhv2. And as an intended by-product of the also high lumens there's plenty of surrounding spill light that's plenty wide, also similar to the plhv2. Haven't shot with it yet but I'm sure it'll withstand recoil just fine. Ordering a second one now while they're still on sale for $88. The package it comes in has the Ingress Protection rating on it and it's IP68 - completely Dustproof and can be submerged in 1 meter of water for over 1 hour. It's not potted but instead the electronics are put through a modern re-flow oven, which eliminates the need for potting. I'll update if it fails in any way but so far so good.
