The rear sight on a Walther PPS M1 has a toothed spring type fastener under the rear sight. This creates a lot of friction so the sight does not drift. It also makes it very difficult to press out.
I was very impressed with how this NcSTAR sight press allowed me to firmly secure the pistol slide into the correct position AND have enough force to push the Walther rear sight out. the tool is well made and it did a very good job.

I'm happy with the NcSTAR sight press and would recommend it to my friends if they needed one.
