It seemed a little pricey at first, but the more I use it, the more I like it. Sometimes 7.62x39 gets stuck and you have to push all the cartridges around a bit to get it to work. Also, 5.56 magazines don't work very well. However, when it works, it works. If you can get it on sale and use a coupon code it's definitely worth the purchase.

Defective, and chewed up my rifle's finish

I attached the mount after reading the instructions. Getting the mount to slide onto the rail was strangely difficult and ruined the finish around the rail ("oh boo hoo" I know, but it's worth mentioning). I know this wasn't a problem caused by the rifle, as I ordered a different mount and it slid on just fine. Anyways, It felt kind of wobbly so I tightened it a bit. Once that didn't work, I loosened it, removed it, then reattached it several times being careful to follow the instructions. I convinced myself I was imagining the wobble and took it out to the range a while later. Upon the first shot, the mount immediately fell off of the gun (with a few hundred dollars worth of optics attached to it, mind you)
