I'm not using it at a club or in competition. I only use it for personal progress information. The sensitivity is adjustable, and if you play with it, it will pick up even suppressed 22 pistols most of the time (think Red Ryder BB gun volume level). Suppressed 9mm is 100% once levels are set correctly. It does have some parasitic battery drain, so I remove the 9V battery after use. Over time, that may become an issue since the wire leads are very thin. So far, 0 issues and completely satisfied.

I ordered this for cleaning a couple of AR rifles with barrels ranging from 9" to 12". It works perfectly for that use- I can clean from the chamber end, and the rod is short enough that I don't have to battle the flex that occurs with using a longer rod.
