Used this muzzle brake on the FM 16-inch UltraLite barrel and it keeps the barrel shooting nice and flat with minimum muzzle rise & the fit-and-finish matches the FM Barrel nicely as far as recoil reduction it doesn't really help that much but there's no recoil on a 9 anyways
Used the 16in Barrel paired with the FM 9mm Muzzle Brake on ar9 carbine build, have taken it out and tested it on three separate occasions and have shot it at 25, 70 and 100 yards with a variety of different bullet weights ranging from 115 to 147 grains & the barrel handled the different bullet weights great - now keep in mind that I have not done any serious target shooting and have been just plinking at cans, bottles and random objects but all the shots have been right in there - so you can tell that it has potential - as far as different bullet weights it seems to really like the 115 GR FMJ the best
These muzzle brakes are very good I own several of them they're great for preventing muzzle rise and reduce recoil quite a bit and yes they do make your rifle louder but all muzzle brakes do that and you're supposed to be wearing hearing protection anyway so it shouldn't matter too much - funny thing is is I got one of these mounted on AR rifle and one on a bolt action rifle both are the same caliber with 16 inch barrels but for some reason the AR is twice as loud
the fit and finish are very good - the crush washer that came with it I threw in a junk drawer and instead used the Precision Armament - Accu Washer Muzzle Alignment system since I had set left over from muzzle brakes installed on other rifles, as far as recoil reduction & muzzle rise are concerned it does a decent job of reducing both - I've used muzzle brakes that did a better job on both but they're anywhere between 2-5 times more expensive, this muzzle brake was installed on a Ruger American Predator rifle in 308 caliber - for the price - this muzzle brake is a good buy!
I got this scope for 17hmr & 22wmr-It's hands down one of the best scopes I've owned! I own Leupolds, Redfields, Vortex, Weaver, Nikon, & Bushnell, & this scope is just as good if not better than scopes of comparable price points!
OK - lets see the scope is clear on all powers and the eye relief is terrific! it's small and light - I have a weaver rimfire scope the same size that is almost its equal but is lacking in the eye relief department! overall the leupold is a great rimfire scope but unless you have a coupon or get it on sale the cost is too high!
