What I was using eliminated the bolt catch so I was anxious to try this. It seemed a good solution as it required minimal modification of the lower, can be removed at some later date and let me reinstall the bolt catch. I am handy have the tools, and had no trouble following the directions . The drill guide is spot on, drills sharp and installation went perfectly. I think they should be clearer that you will have to purchase an 8x32 tap. When installed in my situation, the pin did not extend far enough into the mag release opening to block the button when the action closed. The pin needed to be longer. I contacted the company and asked for a .050" longer pin. I was informed that someone would get back to me. After waiting a week, I took matters into my own hands and using a stainless-steel bolt, my electric drill and a series of files, ground out a copy of the pin .050" longer above the expanded section of the pin. Works great now. Disappointed in their lack of response but a well thought out product which with my modification works well.
