Great tool for 1911 builders

If you are building a 1911 and need a .250 radius beavertail cut, this is the jig you need. Run your file across this to get a radius slightly larger than .250 for you to get a solid gunsmith fit. This jig will get you close enough to the ideal radius that when you need to blend your beavertail to the frame it’s easy and looks amazing. Just know the jig material has changed from the ones I’ve had in the past so some material might come off but it’s minimal and you can always rotate the jig if you are worried about over cutting.
Solid Recoil spring kit/Guide rod

Great kit for people who want to tune their 365s compared to factory. This is installed on my 365XL with a Holosun 507K, threaded True Precision barrel and shooting 124gr FMJ or 124gr HP. Biggest thing is testing each spring out with the loads you will be carrying or using the most. I took the gun and kit to a range fired a mag on each spring until I found one that I felt reduced the most recoil. For me that was the heaviest spring.

They are Salomon’s! Some of the most comfortable shoes I’ve worn for work, Rucks, or even workouts. They are pretty light for how much support they give on the ankles and how much cushion they have on the inside. Running in these is so much better than in my Columbias, Bates, or even Danners. For the amount of time I’ve used them the only problem I have had is the speed laces have torn on one shoe with in the first two months of use. Other than that they are some of my favorites followed by Columbia’s.
Best tool set for a range bag

Love this kit, it’s no bigger than a pencil bag. So can fit in any pocket or in any gear bag with no need to worry about space or weight. This has been used countless of times for my rifles, pistols, workbench or just other everyday items that need common screws /bolts tightened or loosened.

Simple and easy to use tool for those that take alittle more pride in their AR’s. Is it a necessity? Not really as you’ll never notice the difference especially if your rifle doesn’t see past 100yrds. Biggest thing is this will not work with thermal fit uppers. I’ve tried using in VLTOR and BCM uppers but the fit is way to tight to rotate plus they are pretty square from the start.

Geissele Ultra Duty Lower Parts Kit
Solid kit, real reason I grab these for my builds are I love the 5 axis trigger guards, bolt catch, and selector. Only issues I’ve ran into with these kits are the roll pin for the triggerguard being oversized for some frames every now and then. I’ve ran into the issue on a Zev and Noveske lower but I always keep extra pins around so no big deal. Just know the selector is a pretty tight fit so might need alittle pressure to remove the throw levers but everything else is straight forward.
Cheap rings that can get the job done

Used for a while on a .30-06 without a muzzle brake for a few years now. The mounts are a cool concept and work for most applications. Only issues i had with the rings are them constantly coming loose, yes I’ve torqued to spec, and loc-Tite them but after several rounds the witness marks I put are always off. The other issue is the level being slightly off but that’s the ocd in me that notices it slightly cocked, gets you in the ball park either way. For the price I’m not upset and the rifle it’s on is usually tossed around and I reconfirm zeros before going on a hunt.
Great brake

Solid product per usual when buying JMac. The brake works flawlessly to reduce recoil and allows Keymo capable devices to connect quickly. While shooting I did not notice any flash. The brake is on the long side but I have it on a 18” SPR so OAL does not bother me. This device did not come with shims so you will have to purchase a set.

Great mount that sit just a bit higher than normal rings. Love the finish and quality of Reptilia products. I also have the ROF-45 offset red dot mount which fits perfectly when paired to a Trijicon 2-10 scope. The lock up for the caps and 1913 mounts are solid.
Great precision trigger

Solid trigger for precision shooters or anyone looking for a high quality trigger. I do have this set for just over 1lb trigger pull. Lowest I was able to get the trigger, while adjusting, was around 10oz. So it’s a super light trigger if you want it to be. The manufacturer recommends you stay in the range printed on the trigger but also claims you can go outside of the range aslong as the adj screw has at minimum three turns/click in from being fully removed.
