Ruger carbine 1" swivels - Ruger 10/22 Takedown
Written on Mar 07, 2016
This product is high quality. However, I wish it were available in stainless, to avoid rust. Be aware that 1" slings are not easy to find. Probably because they are for heavier rifles. I purchased a "Butler Creek Slings with Sewn-in Swivels" from Optics Planet that was very nice. Since it had sewn in swivels, I only had need for the studs.
Regardless of instructions and U-Tube videos, you can use the non-screw stud with the Ruger plastic band strap. I ruined mine trying to hollow out a space and had to order an aluminum replacement. My suggested fix, simply install the screw stud directly in the nose of the fore stock, so that it points up when standing the rifle on its butt. This works great!

Rifle Sling

This product is very nice quality. The swivels that are sewn into each end are high quality. If you get this sling, you do not need swivels, but will need the studs that the swivels attach to. There are little plastic studs on the pad that will keep it from slipping.
