I ordered the high rings because they will be used with the new Tasco scope on a break action rifle with a hammer. I felt the higher rings would give me more room to get to the hammer without a hammer extension.

This cover seems to work for smaller scopes. It is very tight on my Tasco 3-9x40. I'll use it on another smaller scope. I thought the new Tasco wouldn't have a cover but I should have known it would come with one.

I have had Tasco scopes all my life. They have always been good. I purchased this one and it is just like the others. I plan to use it for hog hunting here in Florida in low light conditions when hogs are on the move.
