So, I purchased these as a replacement set for my wife. For whatever reason, hers stop working out of nowhere. We had used them around labor day last year. This year, we were headed out to the range, and I turned them on to make sure the batteries were still good, and nothing but static. The first pair were out of manufacturer warrantee period. That is the only issue I've had, the ear pads do make you extra sweaty on the hot days, but, for an entry level pair of electronic earmuffs, they are definitely worth it.
