Vltor QDM-14: M1S/M14 Railed Sling Mount
Mounted on SOCOM 16, easy to install, QD sling mount is positive engagement, plus the rail works with Atlas or Harris bipod. I also installed a Noveske Flush QD Sling Mount (05000471) in the stock of the SOCOM 16. Now I have QD mounts on the forend and butt stock, works great with a two point sling.

Nice glass, small enough to carry in pocket and not realize it's there. Good for reading small print or examining small parts. Nicely made, high qualty. Leather is typical Galco...high quality, good fit and finish.

Excellent binoculars for long range rifle

Steiner 7x50rc are excellent binoculars for unknown distance target acquisition. When looking for targets the ultra clear and crisp glass is great with no eye fatigue over long periods of time. The mil reticle in conjunction with the compass is great for locating targets and describing the location to shooter/spotter. Having a mil reticle in your binoculars, spotting scope and rifle scope makes everything work smoothly between shooter and spotter, everyone is speaking the same language. I highly recommend these to any serious long range shooter.
