Wow! So worth the $$ !!

Written on Jan 06, 2016

I have been wanting to put on a laser for a while now. I am getting up there in years and my eyesight is not what it used to be.
I also thought about the scenario where I would be knocked to the ground before I could get my gun out. Having to shoot from such a compromised position would be much easier with a laser, so, I started researching the available units for my Glock 43.

My concern, in the beginning, was now that I want to put a laser on my Glock 43 I am going to have to find a suitable holster.
I hate holster shopping: Buying them, trying them out only to find later that little idiosyncrasies pop up and start to drive you crazy.
That concerned vanished the minute I opened up the holster box that is shipped with this product and slid it on my belt!!

The belt slide holster for this setup is perfect! It causes the butt of the gun to ride close to my side without pushing it into me.
It is in the perfect place for quick drawing -- the slight forward cant is perfect. I wear mine in the 3 o'clock position and it conceals much better than my Blackhawk Serpa with the belt attachment or my Fobus paddle. Even a light T-Shirt will cover it with VERY little printing.

The holster works as advertised and turns off the unit when placed into the holster. Before the gun clears the holster it is on and ready.

One more thing about the holster: It is a retention holster that places a plastic protrusion in a place to grab the ejection port.
Don't try to just pull straight up -- y
