I mounted this on my 930 SPX for home defense and am very pleased with the quality and operational features. This is not a handgun light, and the sloped switch is designed to be operated with your thumb, so left or right side mounting on or near the fore grip is the only way to go. When mounted properly, the switch falls naturally under the thumb and is easy to actuate. The strobe is nice and fast, but can only be accessed via a double click from the off position so there isn't much chance of accidently turning it on instead of a solid beam. There is also a bar that flips up to block the switch and prevent accidental actuation. The selector switch is a nice feature as well, disabling the strobe and setting the thumb switch for momentary contact only. There is no provision for attaching a remote pressure switch. The light is plenty bright enough and has a dispersal pattern that seems to be tailored for tactical room clearing. The picatinny clamp is a tight fit, so even if the clamp were to completely loosen, the light will not fall off. This light is really light weight but still has robust construction. Over all, an excellent light for the price.

I just finished installing the Reactor 5 on my Kahr PM40 and I am very pleased with the fit and operation. The adjustment was pretty close right out of the box and required only a slight windage adjustment. I like the fact that it has a manual power switch so you can turn the laser off when loading or unloading. This also allows use in non-ECR holsters if you choose to go that route. It has selectable constant on or strobing function which is a real plus, and a battery level indicator LED that momentarily comes on to let you know the condition of the batteries. It also comes with an extra set of batteries which is something very few other manufacturers do, and a very well made leather and plastic belt slide ECR holster (not a pocket holster). My preferred carry method is with a pocket holster, so I also purchased a DeSantis Super Fly for a Kahr with a Crimson Trace laser, and then installed a 1/2 inch disc magnet in it to operate the ECR function. It fits and works great!

I bought this for pocket carry of my PM40 and it works great. The gun fit is just loose enough to allow an easy draw, and the tacky outside keeps the holster in your pocket. The outer pad does a good job of masking the gun shape, but does add a bit of bulk. DeSantis had the foresight to make it removable so you can take it off when you don't need it. Overall, an excellent option for legal carry.

I have tried several different ways to carry an extra mag for my EDC PM40, and this is the one I use the most often. It rides perfectly in the pocket and keeps the mag angled for an easy grab while keeping it protected from lint and whatever else you might have in your pocket.
