If I could only have one
Written on May 03, 2026
I bought the heavy version of this bag for NRL22 and if I could only have 1 bag it would be this one. There are very few stages that I've shot so far that this bag hasn't gone with me. There are a lot of good quality bags available and this is certainly one of them. The size and design make this a versatile solution for almost any prop and shot.

Too many features?

Review for
Atlas Bipods V8 Atlas Bipod
I've only started getting involvled in shooting sports where a bipod is a must have for competition (NRL22). I have a Harris but this seemed like a better alternative. I chose it for the many options but now that I have it I believe that the better choice is the more expensive model that doesn't allow panning and locks the legs from rotating. Not really buyers remorse but sometimes more isn't better. The friction nob controls both pan and tilt and is difficult to get to. Quality is great just make sure you get what you need and optimized for those controls.

Excellent budget scope
Written on Jan 25, 2026
I have been exceptionally happy with the Athlon product line and this is no exception. I've pretty much stayed in the budget scopes for use in Benchrest and NRL competition shooting. The quality seems as good as any scope I've owned and they are jammed with features. Even the lower and mid end has decent glass. I have had absolutely nothing to complain about and if anything these scopes over deliver. I really appreciate the upgraded/new reticle on this specific model with the Gen 3 and relocating the IR dial to the body. The Parallax range is exceptional for NRL. Someday I'll probably buy some of Athlon's high end products but so far I haven't had a need to and the price point on these lets me stay in the Base/Mfg class for competitions. If you haven't tried them then you should you may be surprised what you get especially with the Argos line.

Great piece of technology for the price

If you need a traditional glass optic and your priority is clarity, weight, easy to operate then this isn't the scope you are looking for. If you are looking for an optic with any of the features not offered by a traditional optic then this product is a veritable buffet of options to sample and try out at a reasonable price. I mounted this on a Savage .22-250 to accompany me on a Prairie Dog shoot in South Dakota. Not to shoot prairie dogs as much as to take scoped pictures and video while my friends shot. Another feature I wanted to try is the Night Vision. We stay in a cottage miles out in the prairie with coyotes in abundance. I wanted a rifle that would potentially allow us to take one if it wandered close enough. That wasn't the case BUT we did play with the Night vision capabilities and I was impressed by the ATN's ability to clearly illuminate my friends using the factory provided IR illuminator out to over 200+ yards. Terrain features were not as clear but people and animals were easy to identify and "paint". There was no hiding from it. I'm confident if coyotes had wandered near our camp we would've had one. Other features for ballistics, changing reticle, remote streaming to mobile devices just add to the fun. Would I mount this on my favorite rifle for a big hunt? Not likely. Will I keep it mounted on a rifle just in case opportunity requiring its specialized capabilities presents itself? Absolutely.

Review for
Primos Hunting Trigger Stick Bi Pod
I was able to use the product once. After that I was unable to extend or retract the legs and the Trigger was locked. Primos support redirects you to Bushnell for support where they have no mention of the product. Good luck.
I think I would've liked the product given a chance to use it otherwise its $100 wasted.
