Wanted a compact option for adding onto a short all purpose house or vehicle gun. I also wanted a stock that would be workable by anybody in the house. I am 6 foot and about 275 and have no problem running a standard length stock but my wife and daughters really can't shoot a full size stock comfortably. As it turns out I can shoot this stock just fine. Also beats out a pistol grip and really is not that much longer. If you have ever ran a pistol grip and in the exuberance of youth smoked yourself in the face with it while trying to aim you will appreciate the short length but still being able to actually aim the thing off your shoulder. Also on a Mossberg 500 this works better then a folder or collapsible stock because of where the saftey is located. Love the house overmold also. Price is also more then reasonable.
