I first thought I had made a mistake with this one until I played with two different flashlights and learned its features. There are three switches - one blocks the back switch from being pressed. The back switch serves as a quick thumb switch for changing light modes. The front switch serves as an on or off switch. You do need to park this grip to the right flashlight - I tried three different ones and had to get it settled just right to get optimum performance. Set it up right and it will work well for you.
