Purchased this as OPMOD kit . OPMOD kit is not needed battery pack is ok battery pack cable is useless , straight plug on battery side of cable will not work with battery in rifle stock case . At best I will have to cut a hole in the case to get access to ports on jumper pack ... Plus internal battery is good for 18 hours . Guess would come in handy if I ever have to bug out for the zombie apocalypse. The scope I received was missing the 4K badge on the side of the front Bell(minor concern) . The IR illuminator that came as part of the package is trash even turn on(major concern). Quick detach mount will not work ony bolt action rifle (should be ok on MSR style rifle) Optics planet gave me a 10% refund & made me a small deal on the nite snipe 750 IR illuminator kit. Ok so scope review daytime clarity is awesome even at night with background lightsf . Could not tell you about Night vision portion of scope because I am waiting for my illuminator kit to arrive. But if it as clear as day time mode it should be a effective tool for coyote

Update to my 1st review still have not received a response from CMC about missing anti walk pin screw apparently the customer service isn't very good . I informed them that I would go on the internet & voice my concerns about issue & the no response from the C/ S department. OPTICS PLANET has advised me that I can return the trigger to them & they will send me another. Not worth the trouble of taking gun apart again. Stock trigger pin works just fine to hold in place

Great mount I got the QD version. Sighted in then removed scope and put back on,scope was still on the money. Mount is a tank very solid . Like the smooth caps VS the railed caps as my MSR is a RRA Elite Operator 2 & has plenty of rail space

Over all a good scope . Crosshair are a little on the thick side ,the center pretty much covers a 1" circle target. Will be good in early & low light conditions. Holds zero wasn't to concerned about that though as I put this on a 22 K Hornet (light recoil)

Trigger is way better than a stock trigger group. Only 2 down falls . #1 there were only 3 screws in the package for the anti walk pins , contacted CMC hopefully they will ship me 1, I did use the factory pin for now. #2 if I keep the trigger squeezed after the shot I have to push the trigger forward to get it to reset . This problem may get better with use . If I let off the trigger after engagement it resets no problem

Was a easy install it ya have a little mechanical skill. Rifle goes bang every time I squeeze the trigger. When installing be sure to turn rifle up right & cycle bolt several times to assure you have enough tension on the trigger because it will release firing pin on the bolt cycle without enough tension
