I purchased this for use with a KAK buffer tube and it did not fit at all! The nut threaded on but, not nearly far enough for the buffer tube to catch the detent.
I wound up using this for another project with a standard milspec buffer tube. It did fit and I felt confident that it would not back off but, the collapsable stock will to go to the shortest length of pull (milspec or Magpul), the tips of the nut scratched the finish of the buffer tube, and neither of my armorers wrenches fit properly. Again, I don’t think it will come loose but, I won’t be purchasing another nor recommending this product to anyone for a future build. I gave it 3 stars because it does appear to hold properly (range time will tell) and the threads were good but, it’s not really worth the trouble. A standard castle nut will suffice and costs less anyway.

For being able to build a custom buffer to help with cycling issues, this kit is my favorite. It came with enough parts to modify multiple buffers to dial in your rifle or carbine. I was able to get my pistol to cycle steel cased ammunition perfectly with this kit and still have parts left over! Perfect with the KAK brace kit!

This makes charging the bolt much easier with your off hand (right hand shooters). The included rolled pin and lighter pressure spring is very much appreciated. The worst part is trying to get that tiny pin back into place. That is probably my least favorite part of the AR15 assembly. It really nice that it comes with a new spring and pin.

The B.A.D. lever is simple to install and adds a higher level of user friendliness. This allows you to keep on target when loading a magazine and release the bolt catch with your trigger finger. Excellent and inexpensive upgrade. I’ll be purchasing this product for each of the rest of my builds.

I use this mount on an AR platform. A.R.M.S. claims that this mount will repeat zero within 1 MOA. I can personally attest that this is correct as long as you put it back on the same slot. Very minimal adjustment after removal and reinstallation of glass. I would definitely recommend this product. I have this and two others. Well worth the money.

As a grab and go carrier, this one works great! Better side buckles would be cool but, it holds what I need to get on the move. I have one as a primary and will get another for the truck. It will fit nicely in the rig with the other gear.
