Bought this mount for my P226, the Sig.357 was chewing through sights at an allarming rate. Since I got it no more broken glass with the advantege that i am significantly faster on double taps and rapid fire. Added bonus, i now can quickly swap my fav sight between all my shooters (with a picatinny) in an instant. Another added bonus is the extra balance. This mount is very precise with tight tolerances, fits perfectly and is easy to install. High quality German craftsmenship at it's best.

It replaced the original iron sight without any modification on my G17 I keep for home defense. The sight illuminates the front with an adjustable light source that functions as a torch, on high power setting, wether green or red, it will send any perp running scared when illuminated by it, avoiding a muzzle flash illuminating him. The sight is off when stored, with it's shake awake future, the moment it moves it comes on instantly, insures long battery life yet quick usability without the need to look for buttons and switches. It's what makes it such a great option for home defense.

MAK Optics Makstorm 4x30i HD Prismatic Sight
The MAKstorm is simply flawless, I just ordered a second one so I don't have to swap between my two favs. Was not much of a fan of these sights, especially not after trying the H"*&\>n sight...but when my buddy introduced me to this baby, what a game changer. Professional German excellence is all i can say, best materials, real high end machining and finish. As sturdy as they come, dropped mine several times still working fine. There's no such thing as zero parallax despite what everyone advertises but on target practice i get the tightest spread with it.
