Great stock

The fit and finish on this stock are flawless. It fits snug, but requires no force or shaving. The buttstock does not rattle whether folded or not. The polymer is supper hard, but has a nice feel. It takes Cerakote very well. While pricey, this stock is top shelf quality.

A nice grip

Review for
Tyrant CNC MOD Long Gun Grip
This is a really nice grip. The finish on it is flawless.
The fit was another matter. I'm not faulting the grip, but I'll share the details in case others are heading down the same path...
I ordered this for a Mossberg MVP-LC in 5.56. The slot in the grip was too narrow to straddle the tang on the chassis (LSS Gen-1 manufactured by Modular Driven Technologies). I took it to a local machine shop, and it turns out the tang on the chassis was 10/10,000ths of an inch too wide. I don't know for sure if the tang on the chassis was too wide, or the slot on the grip too narrow, but I'm giving the benefit of the doubt to Tyrant Designs. I had the machinist mill the slot to widen it just a bit. The grip then fit and the hold-down screw aligned perfectly. It is worth noting that the radius on the grip (closest the the trigger) is smaller than than the corresponding radius on the chassis. It looks fine, but the fit seemed off until we tightened the hold-down screw, which pulled the grip into place nicely. Bottom line: if you want to use this grip on an MDT Gen-1 LSS chassis, you're going to have to tweak it. This is, most likely, the case for any aftermarket metal grip on the chassis. (The chassis came with a Magpull over-molded grip. No issues with it because the rubber material has enough flex to expand to fit the tang.)
