Cool breeze

Written on Oct 23, 2020

Used once and love it. Used during load development. Really speed the time waiting for the barrel on my savage 300 prc to cool down between sets. Though, I hope they are working in a model that doesnt sound like a 50lb Mosquito while wearing hearing protection.

Very adaptable bench rest plate. I now have 2. 1 on my 6cm in a ar10 and 1 on my savage prc 300. Very useful on long shots and load developments. Enables setting cantiture and holding that cant. Allowing you to focus on trigger pull and breathing.

Long range bench rest 6cm

Written on Jul 07, 2020

I compete in long range steel shots at the Mifflin County Sportsman Association in Lewistown Pa. Was shooting 6cm in AR10 platform using a bipod. At 1000 yards, I was averaging 5 out of 10 hits. Today with the benchrest adapter I'm hitting 8 out of 10.

High pressure cure on 6mm

Written on Jul 01, 2020

I was having high primer pressure signs on my 6mm creedmoor. Would even have primers pop out on differant makes of factory ammo. Reloads the same. Even on the lowest reloads, but no other pressure signs. This enhanced bolt was the cure. Even the primer pockets stop growing.

Very nice die set

Written on Jul 01, 2020

This die set is very nice. The only complaint that I have is the seating die. When you seat the bullet, the very top of the die moves upward. To ensure a proper consistent bullet seat depths, I set the die back about .030 longer then my desired depth. Measure the coal, adjust the die for the proper depth and finish the seat. Pain in the butt. But it works.

Amazing optic for such a low price

Written on Apr 09, 2020

I was in need of a scope that was clear, and fog proof. I shoot alot of ground hog competitions using my savage FTR in 308w. The issue I was having is that when powering full power on a 1" x at 500 yards, the crosshairs was covering the x by 2 times. Power back so the hairs didnt cover the x and i could no longer see the x. This Riton Optic has a small dot. Also has the hash Mark's to help with distancing. Being a second Focal plane, the small dot stays small. With the amazing clarity of the HD glass even at low light conditions, I'm able to see the X at 500 and not cover the x with the retical. I would recomend this optic and any other optic that Riton offers.
