It's a big scope with exceptional clarity. I have not taken it to the field yet but expect it to do the job. I like the magnification adjustment knob-it's easy to adjust with a gloved hand. Make note that it is 30mm not a 1 inch tube. I ordered the wrong sized rings.

I used these scope rings to mount a Vortex scope on my Browning BLR. Using a picatinny base it was a snap to adjust the scope forward and back. The rings lock into the picatinny base easily and very solidly. This is now my preferred method for installing scopes.i just ordered a new set of Vortex scope rings for my Weatherby 270 WBY Mag that I decided to re-scope.
