These do what they are designed to do when your cartridge boxes start to fall apart or when you are reloading and you need to put your shells in something, well this is what they're for. Just wrap a rubber band around it so the bottom doesn't separate from the top.

I brought this along on an Elk hunt this fall and I'm glad I did, I didn't use it as I purchased an extra mag for my Browning X Bolt from Optics Planet but I lent it to my buddy who had a Remington 700 and he needed to carry extra shells. It worked fine, much better than having loose shells rattling in your pocket.

This mag works as it should easy in and out of the rifle. No jams as the shells feed up and into the chamber. I think it's a good plan to have an extra magazine for your rifle when you're headed to the woods.
