This pouch is well constructed, has nice internal padding of the main compartment and a partial scratch free lining on one side of the outer expandable pocket. The MOLLE straps provide some options for attaching the pouch to other equipment. It can also be quickly placed on any belt with a snapped strap. My only wish is that is could have been a bit taller. The width is nice and the pouch is great for small items like a compass, folding knife, signal mirror, etc., but is too short for some gps units, pen, pad or a cell phone. Despite this con, I like the pouch.

I found this to be a nice day pack useful for work and pleasure. It is compact enough to not be bulky, but also expands outward quite a bit to accommodate more gear. The zippered pockets are nicely segregated and convenient. The construction is sturdy, although the zippers were a bit stiff to use at first. The pack appears that it will survive repeated use with limited wear and tear. Thus far the only aspect I'm unsure about is the width of the shoulder straps. Although they are padded, they are narrow. This serves to make the pack easy to transport and store, and hasn't been an issue with light loads. I haven't had the opportunity to carry heavier loads for extended periods to see if the narrow straps are adequate. I'm also still waiting on delivery of a hydration bladder, so it will be nice to see how that will integrate.
