These binoculars have amazing clarity and the diopter focus has a wide enough of a range for my eyesight. I replaced a cheap pair of 10x50, from another manufacturer, that I used for many years as a monocular, because the diopter focus range wasn't sufficient. The binoculars and case are well made and I expect a lifetime of trouble free use. I am very happy with my purchase. If I could change anything it would be to have the option of buying an additional suspension harness to attach to my backpack. I did not find one manufactured by Vortex so I purchased from another company.
