I’ve used this sling 2 tours to foreign countries under kinetic conditions. I love the durability and ease of use. I received the sling from another soldier who had already used it for about a year in garrison training environments. After having it on my rifle for military daily use for a few years I transferred it to my duty rifle for police work 4 years later of that, many schools, trainings and call outs. I finally elected to buy a new one for my personnel do all rifle. It has withstood the abuse of time, dirt, grime, water, hot and cold. Wether it was upstate NY winter or El Paso TX heat. It always works. When something as simple as a sling is just always there, always dependable, we tend to forget until we try something new. Which I did. I went to a magpul sling and though the sling operates as it should it was not as simplistic or as ergonomic as the Viking tactics.

Bottom line when setup properly you won’t be disappointed. Buy it!
