Great Mount for your 10/22 Takedown

Written on Oct 02, 2017

So I've been using ADM mounts for some time now. While they can be costly you truly get what you pay for.
I picked up the AD-Scout-S mount for my Ruger 10/22 Takedown. I wanted a solid mount that holds zero even with constant on/off of the rifle. Being this was going on my takedown 22 it works perfectly! The single QD "tactical" lever is large enough to operate yet small enough not to get hung up on anything. The mount itself is solid and not cheaply made. I would highly recommend is mount.

Another Great Surefire Light

Written on Jun 28, 2015

I'm a bit of a Surefire fan so I'm a bit bias on their products. I own probably 10+ lights from Surefire and can't find a single thing I don't like about them. So when the P2X Fury with Intellibeam was released I waited no time on ordering one. And I'm glad I didn't. The Intellibeam feature is just another plus to their P2X line of lights. I tested the Intellibeam feature in different darkness levels of my home and garage and it works as described. Best feature was moving from an open space and the light reducing in brightness when it shine on walls to reduce wash back. I'm leaning towards adding this light to my home defense AR rifle. With all that said if you too are bias towards Surefire, and even if you're not, you won't be disappointed with this light!

Inexpensive and works great!

Written on Apr 04, 2015

I'm not a hunter nor long distance shooter so I wasn't looking for an expensive scope with a large magnification. Most I shoot out to is 100yds and through research found the Leupold Mark AR MOD 1 to meet all my needs. For sub $450 with mount you won't be disappointed if you needs/wants are similar to mine.
