Review for
Beamshot Ultra Bright Red Lasersight
The laser beam is reasonably bright but the Beamshot claim of “10X brighter” is doubtful. Any laser 1/10 as bright as this wouldn’t be usable for anything. It uses a CR123A battery for longer life than some other similar lasers.
It holds up OK to shotgun recoil. I like the adjustment locking feature. However, depending on you mount and application, that locking screw orientation may make it difficult to access.
The Beamshot laser does not come with an end cap ON/OFF switch. You have to use the pressure switch which has a short 5 inch straight (not coiled) cord. Depending on your application this might be a problem. However, longer switch/cord assemblies are available for purchase as a separate item.
Laser end cap should have a pivoting wire attachment. As it is, you need to pull the pressure switch off its Velcro pad to unscrew the end cap. If you don’t do this, you could twist off the wire where it enters the end cap.
Overall a decent product but it could use a few improvements as noted.
