Review for
Crosman Benjamin Recharge Compressor
This is a great compressor it does everything the manufacture says it should do. It filled my 6.8-liter recharge tank from 0 psi to 4500 psi or 300 bars in 70 minutes run time. The unit turned off as it is supposed to do after 40 minutes run time. I then let the unit cool down as directed per the instructions for approx. 25 min. Note the temp never got over 65 Celsius per the readout located on the unit. Once I started the unit up again it continued pressurizing the tank, but I notice the unit was starting to labor a bit and then it cut off and a light that was turned on in the room flickered at the same time. I had read about this unit possibly cutting off if it is plug into a 15-amp circuit because this unit does draw a lot of wattage and amps. Luckly, I have a 20-amp circuit in my house that I plug this unit into, and it started to run much smoother. The unit did not surge it seem to run a little faster and smoother. The house that I live in is fairly new and everything is up to code. So, I say all of this to say that this unit should run on a 20--amp circuit. Please note that this unit should only be operated within a well-ventilated area or room that is not located within a living space. This unit does off gas fumes which can be seen in certain lighting condition and one can also smell these fumes which most likely are not healthy for you.
