Gideon Optics Alpha Red Dot Reflex Sights
I bought this optic for the red front lense to match a red and black firearm build.
After opening the box. The Gideon optic is not even remotely red as the images suggest. It looks smoked gray and I see no shades of red when looking at the lense. Where my Holosun i ordered with a red lense CAME WITH A RED LENSE just like the photos. I was led to believe I was getting one thing and either got a wrong product, or the photos of a red appearance when facing a Gideon Alpha is completely false advertising. The Gideon alpha lense is dark and transparent, not red like the photos show. Deceptive photos. Disappointed to say the least. This will not end up on the build it was bought for. Either returning or putting on a different firearm. The optic works. But its still not what the photo shows. I expected a dark red tinted lense.

Just bought a 2nd from OpticsPlanet

Lets go back to Black Friday 2019. My local gun shop in CT had some amazing deals for Black Friday. Being a new permit holder, I wanted some budget friendly guns to get my feet wet in the process. They had the Smith & Wesson SD9VE 9mm with this Crimson Trace light attached for 269$. After researching the CT tact light, I realized I am getting the Smith for under $200! SOLD!!!!
After checking out the light post purchase I was obsessed. This is one the of best looking, easy to function, quality tact lights I have ever come across. I quickly looked up where I can buy a 2nd and stumbled on a great deal from OpticsPlanet! Now I have a 2nd CT tact light on my Glock 17. BUY IT!
