I used to use Daniel Defense furniture religiously on my ARs. I think I used to really like the rubber grip and how easy it was to hold. Then I switched to one of the B5 grips and sopmod stocks and I converted, The grip allows your finger to pull directly back on the trigger and lines thing up much better than the DD. I liked it so much that I changed up all my grips/stoicks to the Bravo B5 systems and you;dn't be happier. The DD stuff is tucked away, and I'm really happy with the change!
I like the original MRO, but I personally believe that the EOTEH EXPS-3-X had a distinct advantage over the single dot MRO. The MRO experienced a minor shift in terms of parallax but was still very effective for quick shots provided you built the check weld muscle memory. The EXPS was still faster. That being said, I LOVE the new MRO HD. Issues with paralax are gone (I don't notice any) and you have the choice of the donut with center dot (very eotechish) or the single dot. The reticle is super crisp. If you look though the lens just right you can barely makeout a small square outline. You have to be looking almost directly into it in the right conditions. In all the time I've looked through it, I've barely seen it twice, and when I do its very insignificant. I mention it only because I saw someone else mention it. It is far superior to the regular MRO. I like it better than the EOTECH now. But the issue is the etch is cheaper since it includes a QD mount. If you want one for the MRO you have to buy it (a QD mount). That being said, I love the shake awake and it's always ready. You will not regret this purchase!
I love this thing! I've used it for uppers and lowers on AR-10 AND AR-15s and it's right at home with either! It's so quick to reorient and move on to components and exceptionally easy to use, Comes with instructions, but you won't need them. This kit is solid and firm and leaves no wiggle room! It's like it was made for both platforms because it IS! Dude, very happy with my purchase!
This model is great and feel right at home on top of my AR. I like the three dots within the circle and the holographic sight works best with both eyes open. Of course the sight always seems a little pixilated but when actually shooting and focussing on targets the pixilation doesn't bother me. I love the adjustments being on the left side of the sight and that makes for quick changes in intensity. My other eotech has them in the rear of the sight, but this is where they thought be in my opinion, on the side. It mounts quickly nd confidently with a QD for a lower 1/3 cowitness. It is exceedingly durable and If I were to drop my rifle, I would nbe confident that the optic would continue to rock-on unaffected.
I replaced my standard trigger with this and couldn't be happier. This trigger is very smooth and consistent. Take up is very easy and the second stage has a very smooth clean break every single time. I like it so much I bought 5 of them for 4 AR-15's and 1 AR-10. I want the same trigger pul for each rifle, and they are all the same in terms of feel. Just order it, install and get some time on the trigger! Takes absolutely zero time to get used to!
I bought this optic as a hand-selected green tube and I am very impressed. This is my first night vision device and it is absolutely outstanding. I'd like to get another one and go with dual PVS 14s but I still have a lot to learn. This hand selected PVS14 has one small dot of pepper in the right hand side of the lens...one pepper grain-sized balm, that's it! I went out at night into the backyard and my neighbors are an acre away and has one small back porch light on and when I put these on, it was like there was a rock concert over there. Seeing stars and bats and all kinds of things that I wouldn't see with the naked eye. You can't go wrong.
