First I will say I have the Trijicon RMR on a G34/Zev build and it's incredible but puts a big dent in the wallet. I have other Holosun red dots sights on various rifles and have never had one single problem. I waited awhile on this one and after watching the sage dynamics review/testing I went ahead and picked one up for my Shadow System G17 Slide/Build. Honestly I love the view window and the reticle better than my Trijicon and so far so good, zero issues just like the other holosuns I have purchased in the past. Since the pistol will be a range/night stand pistol and really not see any hard abuse I suspect the holosun will give me years of service. For a self defence/ccw role I would definitely trust this optic! Don't forget Holosuns warranty and customer service! Honestly after watching all the reviews and researching all the other RDS optics out there for pistols Trijicon is still #1 and I consider the Holosun my #2 and from a value standpoint I give the holosun 507C a #1 hands down!

The good: The light housing is nice and slim, light itself is bright and well made.

The bad: The mount is clean the light fits in and clams down on it well but the MLOK mounting did not work with very very little pressure the soft cheap screws stripped immediately and could not be mounted. Not solid at all. Then the switch itself is not good. If you momentary press the switch it will come up in the mode you have it set to but then if you turn it off and don't wait a full 5 seconds and press it again it switches to the next mode. Not good for a weapon at all as using a momentary switch is to flash the light off and on as needed. Doing this with this light send it to low med high strobe and cycles through the modes with each press of the tail switch or pressure pad. Terrible, I do not recommend this light at ALL for use on a weapon.

The rubber covering the tail cap switch feels extremely thin not sure about longevity on it at all.

So basically on sale with discount the cost was $50 bucks basically which is fine since I'm only keeping the light itself and tossing the mount, pressure switch pad and package in the trash. Bottom line I do not recommend this light at all!

Great product, easy to mount, easy setup, battery tray screws tiny but thats okay, bought it put it on over a year ago 1000+ rounds numerous range trips with zero issues. Clear glass, mirrors the circle dot on the Sig Romeo 4. These have been replace by newer models and are even a better value now with the lowered prices on them!

Building an AERO upper/lower with the Diamondhead Keymod Rail that has the slant angle on the front and the Diamond hider with the slant front. Wanted something clean and a bit different in regards to a gas block for this build and this Fortis fit the bill perfectly! Super clean nice machining, great black nitride finish, super cool looks, with perfect function! Great choice for ANY build and I would definitely recommend it!
