Nice budget option

Written on May 02, 2026

Clear and bright. Mounted easily. easy to zero. This one is on top a Burris 3x prism which is mounted to a S & W Response AR9. My setup is purely a range toy but functions well for both distance and close range steel targets. Looks really cool too!!

Pretty nice for the money

Pretty cool optic. A bit overkill for my purposes and not exactly what it is intended for (mounted on a S & W Response AR9). Very clear glass! Eye box is small but manageable. I was using out to 75yrds worked great. Easy to zero. Reticles are clear and bright. I actually found the non-illuminated black reticle was best for my purposes. Mounting was straight forward on a pic rail. One negative, the reticle dial if difficult to turn, not a deal breaker. Reticle is a bit busy for my taste, but it is meant for 5.56.

Also mounted a red dot for closer range shots.

General comment definitely overdone for my setup but looks really cool!

Pretty Good

Written on May 02, 2026

Mounted this on my Super Wrangler, not a very involved process. I found it difficult to make sure the plate was seated correctly. Tight fit (as it should be}. Problem I ran into was height over bore for the Cyelee Chameleon. I can't adjust up anymore. Maybe the budget optic and or the thickness of the plate/optic base combo. All that said, this is a range toy, and I will make do with a little Kentucky windage.

Good Times

Lots of fun. Went together easy. Sets up good. Very heavy duty. I have about 500 rds (9mm and 45ACP) on it and it is holding up great. I just make sure I give it a coat of paint after each use.

Nice for the money

Please note it will be a while before I can use this optic but it is mounted and I have some comments.

I received the optic on time and with intact packaging. I am not 100% sure but this may have been a returned item. There were some very small/cosmetic scratches on the base and more importantly the battery was dead! Decided to keep it anyway.

The dot is clear and bright (indoors). I have astigmatism and usually shoot without my glasses. I noticed some mild starbursting which I see regardless of green/red, size or shape of dot. Another negative is the windage and elevation adjustments have no tactile and very faint audible feedback.

Otherwise it's good for now for the cost.

Looks pretty cool!

4 stars for now

Not sure if these will hold up. They are a bit beefier than I thought they would be which is a good thing. Used them for a budget build on a 30-30 lever gun so recoil is mild-moderate. Seem to mount nice and tight. Have to wait and see if they loosen up or stay put.

Good Stuff

Seems well made. Fit was spot on and easy to mount.

4 stars for now

Honestly, I am skeptical. Very budget friendly scope. Appears well made, crystal clear glass and I love the Dead Hold reticle. Bore sighted and zeroed quickly. Nice turret adjustments. It is a bit big for my lever gun but I hunt from a blind and don't need to carry it around much. Time will tell if it holds up. Hope I don't need to use the lifetime warranty after a season or 2.

Pretty much the same as other budget ammo

Written on Oct 21, 2025

Thought I would give this stuff a try. As expected, it shoots like most of the other budget stuff out there. No issues with the 100 I fired through my RXM. Not sure why they use the term round nose as opposed to FMJ??

Trying different ammo

Purchased to see how well it would cycle through my RXM. Did just fine.
