Review for
Hornady Auto Charge Pro
I got this a few days ago and tried it out. This is my first machine of this type. It works well. I loaded 45 rounds of 6.5 creedmoor with IMR 4350. I plugged it in and let it warm up 15 minutes as recommended. I went through the calibration process, quick and easy. I did not try adjusting the times for the powder drop or trickle rate. I just used the default settings at this point. I only had 4 overcharges, which the machine alerted me too each time. I did verify the 40.3 grain charge setting I input with a balance scale. It was dead on. The auto mode is pretty nice. Once you throw a charge, pick up the pan and pour it into a case, the machine sits in idle until you set the pan back on to the scale and then the machine throws another charge. Pretty nice. In manual mode it is similar except you have to push a button each time you want a charge thrown. Happy so far.

Hornady Bullets for Long Distance
Written on Sep 21, 2023
This was one of few bullets I find during the covid lockdown. I worked up a load for 6.5 creedmoor with this bullet. My initial goal was to shoot out to 1000 yds. I use a kestrel and range finder. First time out I was getting hits beyond 1000 yds. I shot out to 1100 yds. I tried 1465 yds but wind conditions weren't good, also in transonic flight at that range with velocity and load I have. Muzzel velocity is 2640 fps. Anyway I am very happy with this bullet and its fairly inexpensive.
