M5 Is a Great Platform

Anything AERO does that is on the M5 is a great product and this is no exception. From the upper and lowers, to the parts kits, and this buffer kit, you just get a better product. It is actually one of those products that cost more, but you get a greater quality. In addition, all the extra built in to the M5 make assembly a breeze. Simply said, you get what you pay for, and in this instance it’s a plus!
Can’t Beat Faxon

Ordered this upper because of a Faxon barrel I just ordered. The quality and craftsmanship is exceptional. You just can’t beat anything that they make. Their attention to detail and quality of products is noticeably better than others in this price range. Optics Planet normally has Faxon products in stock that are back ordered at the manufacturer’s site. Usually at a better price too!

I bought several of these and several Ambi mag releases. Except for my PSA, I could not use this product and the Ambi mag release together. You have to decide which you want.
One other negative is that it comes with the lever and roll pin. For the price, a new spring and detent should be included.
Overall, it does what it’s supposed to do and is very convenient.

Looks Good, But with a Major Flaw

I bought this for my AR’s. Fitment was fine, however, it is considerably less roomy than my enhanced trigger guards. It’s quality built, easy to put on. Anti walk pins are a big plus. But if you need the extra room inside the finger well of the trigger guard, you won’t get much more than mil spec. However, the wider profile is nice.
Best Grip in My Opinion

I’ve tried many grips. Have a whole drawer full of them. I keep coming back to this one. Even for my PRS bolt actions. The comfort is great and it just feels stout. I hate the mil spec hard grips. This one is easy on the hands and gives the right feel when settling in to the shot. Makes it hard to torque if you squeeze too hard.

This a great trigger and I would expect to pay more for it. I have several more expensive triggers for my ARs, but this one works great so far.
Very easy to install, takes just a few minutes and the fit is great.
Time will tell if there are issues, but so far, so good.

Best Ambi Selector

First thing is the ease of installation this product. Secondly, all the “extras” are included and I feel like you are that much more confident using their springs and detents especially when using a 45° throw. These things are durable and I’ll never go back to mil spec one sided again. I have one of these on all my AR’s. You just can’t beat them!
Great Stock, Grip could be better

This stock is very good. The recoil pad makes it extremely comfortable and the fit is very tight with no rattle. One of the better ones I own and definitely the best priced one. Cheek plate is comfortable and in the right place. Grip is lightweight but very rigid. That is a drawback if you want a comfortable grip. However, for the price, it is a great combination.

Limbsaver AR-15/M4 Snap-On Recoil Pad
I bought this for my wife’s .300 AAC. She needed the recoil reduction that she didn’t get with the stock MagPul plate. On that point, it worked well. However, it was very difficult to get it on the stock. Of all the many mods I performed on her weapon, this was surprisingly the toughest. I watched a few videos and though it took a while, I got it on. It works as promised. Very comfortable and she enjoys the reduced recoil.

Better Than Expected

I was looking for a sturdy case that had customizable foam, this case fit the bill. have bought the cheaper “hard” cases from big sporting goods retailers, and they offered little, if no protection at all. This case has the standard egg foam in the lid, but there is a thick layer of foam in the middle that allows you to make a custom fit for your rifle and accessories. Plus there is another thin layer of foam underneath that one to protect on the bottom. I had no trouble fitting a large, scoped bolt gun on a MDT chassis and still had room for magazines and ammo boxes. It has built in locks and holes for additional padlocks. It is heavy, but large handles on two sides and wheels allow it to be moved with little effort. In my opinion, it is worth the money. I plan on purchasing more of these.
