Timney Triggers are my go to for great triggers for different rifle makes. There are only a few names with better performance, but like most things in this life "you get what you pay for". That said I was very interested to see the "Impact AR trigger" from Timney in a price range where many other competitors price their product. Going up against CMC, Rise, higher priced Timney models, and even AR Gold I have to say I am very pleased with its performance. I have seen many other reviews mention the set screws as the part that aggravate most installs; the install is the same with the Impact as it is for other Timney AR triggers. The Timney website specifically states: The Impact is not compatible with the AR-10. I wish is were compatible with the large frame ARs, and I would buy more of them. My next curiosity is to find out how well it works with Pistol Caliber Carbine AR configurations.

I have been a fan of Strike Industries' products for a while. The "feel" of course is subjective, but I have had many positive comments on my builds using this part. I have even purchased their latches to install on the larger AR10 charging handles. I like the color options and welcome any additions to their line.

I have many mounts like this, but this is the only one in this price range I found that offers 20MOA of elevation. I would not go over a 50MM objective with this mount as it tends to interfere with Picatany flat top handgaurd rails. My only complaint is that they do not offer more color options. I beleive FDE would do well in the current market.

Scopes in any color other than black are rare. This scope in this color was only available at OpticsPlanet. I have used the SIII series from Sightron, and they are excellent scopes for the price. I have not had extensive time to find the full range of capabilities for this scope, but that would warrant a magazine article in terms of a write up. My comparisons of Sightron products are based on other scopes I own such as: Nightforce, Leupold Mark IV, Burris Extreme, and the higher end Bushnell optics. The optical quality of Sightron glass tends to be very good, and their customer service is responsive if you have a problem.

I've been migrating away from the standard mil spec stock to Magpul MOE.
I wanted to try something new, and I was not disappointed in this stock.
I mounted it on a multigun AR with offset iron sights.
This stock feels better to me when I pivot the rifle on my shoulder.
The really nice thing about this stock is that it comes ready to mount on a mil spec buffer tube or on a civilian spec buffer tube by simply changing out two insert tabs for the different diameter buffer tubes.
I still need to try it prone and steady at extended distance.
