This is a great selector. A lot of milspec selectors are rather rough, and I suspect that has to do with the finish treatment. Every one of these I have gotten has been precisely drilled so your selector isn't off by some wonky degree, and the tough, deep, black finish is nice and smooth. The lever operates very smoothly and with just the right amount of force.

The only con to this is that it does not come with a detent or spring, so if you're buying this for a new build, that is something to consider. The same is true of the magazine catch - no spring or button unless you get the kit.

Either way, allows you to have a touch of customization and in my opinion, enhanced operation for a minuscule premium over the typical mil spec.

The guy that gave three stars even though he liked it probably eats crayons, and the other guy that was expecting the moon for this probably isn't happy with anything on his poverty pony.

These pins are very well machined, and consistent. If you have really tight pins and you want a little extra leverage and dimensional accuracy to allow you to pop these with a little tool, then these are them. They also have a divot it tou need to use something to push them. Comes with a cool system for installing the front pivot pin without the detent flying. Good buy.

I love the Gen2 Aero Quad rail for pistol builds. 9" goes great with a 10.3" BA Hanson barrel. Optics Planet provides a great value and quick fulfillment and shipping as usual. I had a hard time finding this rail elsewhere and Oltics Planet had it at a great value.
