Good fit on Tac13

Written on Oct 31, 2025

Just to let everyone know. This viper shotgun red dot fits the Tac13 really good. It mounted in far back hole in receiver in back single hole of mount and two forward holes in receiver at end of front and back of front mounting slot. This thing isn’t moving anywhere. Using 3 MOA dot with 65 MOA circle for 00 buck. The sight height is right for cheekweld on grip. Time of use will tell if it’s great or just OK.

there isn’t a set screw

Written on Dec 29, 2024

I like this adapter. This my fourth one. This picture shows looks like a set screw to keep the buffer tube angle straight up and down. Which is very good to have. But there isn’t one and no place for one. So I have to dill and tap for my own set screw. I still use a casual nut on buffer tube but I find you still need a set screw to keep everything in place tighting everything up and keeping it there. I like the angle it puts the buttstock and the adapter is strong and very lightweight. Some other brands made out of cast are very heavy the angle not right unless you’re using optics. So I like this adapter and l own four of them.

you can’t go wrong with this

I put these on my ar pistols. The angle just make the short gun feel better. It aims better and handles better. I tried this grip on my full size ar 15 and seems the standard grip works better shouldering and controlling that longer rifle. Never tried in the prone position. But I think the grandus grip would do better than standard grip. I am 70 so I don’t go prone much. To hard getting up and down. I like the grip and glad I got it.

carry handle

Written on Dec 17, 2024

I ordered three UTG pro handles. I have gotten other carry handles in cheaper brands in the past ,with major disappointment in quality and function. The UTG Pro is a very nice handle. Two of the three were a nine and a half out of ten. Very useable ,with a slight side to side movement in the elevation block. The third handle was excellent. Solid as a rock. 100% zero movement in the elevation block up or down. Solid as a rock. It put big smile on my face. So you can’t go wrong getting this UTG Pro handle. Got them on sale and happy with my purchase.

just ok-maybe

Written on Dec 14, 2023

Well it’s made in China first off. It’s lighter than most and the extra hand room is nice. The painted numbers on adjustments can be handy. I got two at same time. One is barely useable and the other is useless unless used as a fixed sight with the elevation adjustment all the way down to stop side to side pivot movement. There’s no way to adjust the drum for number-detent alinement. The windage adjustment is just as bad. So this carry handle is junk compared to my good handles. Just a tad lighter and more hand room.

works for me

Written on Dec 06, 2023

I have six sets of these extended pins. My hands and wrist are in not to good of shape to fight the standard pins. These help a lot to get them out. They are not too big to be in the way and don’t add much more weight. Out in the field you can pull the pins without finding something to use for a pusher. They are fairly cheap and come with the spring’s and pins for backup parts. They fit as good as any out there. I call them my old man pins. I like them and they work for me.

I bought two of these cases. They did not spark that ( nice case ) in my mind at all. They are not very tall at all. A pistol grip gun with any thing on top, struggle's to fit. The zipper isn't the best by a long shot and the length they say is short by several inches. The fabric isn't the greatest also. Ill use them now I own them and to lazy to send them back. Will not buy any more of these.

This is a well made soft case. For the price it is a know brainer. Good heavy fabric and heavy zipper. The 40inch fit my 37inch Ruger bolt gun like a glove. If the rifle was any longer though, it may not have fit a bit tight. So I would give your self a good three inches more then rifle length. this is my forth Vism case of this model, and have other Vism cases also. Good soft cases, will buy more when needed.

I have two of these grips. One on a S&W 686 and also on a S&W 329PD. This grip seems to take out all recoil to the hand. How it dose it I'm not sure but it works. The grip fills the hand a lot. So if you have small hands it may not be for you. It makes your double action trigger pull reach a bit longer. But it is one of the more comfortable grips I have used. And I have pretty much tried them all and this is what two of my wheel guns are wearing. IF I need a smaller grip in my hand I use the Pachmayr Decelerator. Have this on some other wheel guns. I am a big fan of Pachmayr products and always feel component buying there stuff.

This is really a nice pouch. I got it for a S&W shield 40 and a XDs 45. They fit perfect. Not to tight but not loose either. If the guns were a bit bigger they may not fit. My cell phone ( apple 6s in a ( life proof case ) fits perfect in the front phone slot and very secure. The zippers and the stitching is fist notch. Its overall size is a bit large, but the gun has to fit so that is a given. So this isn't something you wear to church on Sunday but grate for just out beating around. You got all your stuff right there in one place on your belt. And your spare mag fits in the mag slot with your gun perfect and doesn't touch the gun. The gun holster and mag slot is fully adjustable for size and height. It is well though out. So I am very happy with it.
