I looked at many gun cases before deciding on 54.6" Plano gun case. My deciding factor was the price I found at Optics Planet when they had it on sale for $99.99. After receiving the case and pulling out the pluck and pull foam for my Bergara 6.5 Creedmoor and Nightforce SHV 4-14x56 scope I was happy to see that there was adequate room to still put my bipod, sling and ammunition in the case as well. Although this is listed as a double scoped case it would be very hard to accommodate two average sized scoped rifles in this case; I tried multiple scoped rifles that I own and the only way that I could make two rifles with scope fit is to remove the scopes and fit them into the case unmounted on their own, hence the 4 star review. With that being said I am still very pleased with the construction of the case itself. It has 6 very durable locking latches and two carrying handles as well (one on the long side for carrying purposes and another on the short end for pulling it using the included wheels). Even though the handles are not metal they still feel very beefy and strong and appear to be built to last. I do not plan on using these to transport my guns through any airports but I would feel comfortable doing so if the need would ever arise. The case also has two built in locking latches with two additional holes for more secure locks if needed. There is also a pressure relief valve that could be handy if the cases ever were to be used for airline transportation. I real
