I'm an engineer, so I was a little skeptical of a 2 piece free-floated rail. However, it received good reviews on multiple sites, so I thought I would give it a try. Also, with Optics Planet's great return policy, I figured I was safe either way :)

I'm happy to say I was not disappointed. I could not tell from the pictures, but there are actually 4 set screws that hold it in place, and the screws themselves are pretty beefy. Once I had it installed, it is very solid. I torqued on it from several directions and IT DOES NOT MOVE! I'm really quite pleased with the quality. Also as a bonus, which I didn't see in the description, it came with 3 rubber/plastic Picatinny rail covers. They seem to be the same as the Magpul ones, which are usually around $10-12 each.

The one suggestion that I would have is to maybe include a longer hex wrench (6-7 inch) because the set screws were a little tough to get to. I could only turn them a quarter of a turn at a time because of the angle. That is really minor issue, and I'm being really picky, but it would have made the install go a little quicker.
