Review for
Spuhr 34mm QDP Rifle Scope Mounts
I own Larue,ARMS,Leupold, and GG&G QD mounts. None of them come close to the quality and materials of this mount. Its a little hefty and expensive but on a tier 1 system nothing else should be used. With that being said I have to ramble on to meet the 200 character minimum.

I purchased this scope with the idea I would use it for all around 22 rimfire use. Once I got it I realized I needed the illuminated version. This scope provides plenty of light gathering ability for its price (I usually opt for illuminated Schmidt and Bender) but after the sun goes down any non-illuminated scope will not provide targeting ability with a source of light. Many situations occur that you can see the target but can not define the reticle. I personally only purchase illuminated cross-hairs with the idea if I don't need the illumination I can just not turn it on. I am not big on a illuminated cross-hair so bright that you need to be able to see it on a snowy bright sunny day, this logic makes no sense to me.

GG&G 30mm scope mount

excellent quality. I own several and they all perform outstandingly. The mounts return to zero every time as long as you reinstall them on the same rail location. the height allows other sights to co witness perfectly. I like them better than A.R.M.S. mounts because the GG&G use one locking lever that actually applies more surface clamping area than all other quick attach mounting solutions.
