Great replacement for cooler seat cushion and backrest

I purchased this cushion replacement set for my cooler seat. When installing the back rest, I had to drill new holes in the support pipes. When it came time to install the cushion, I discovered that there are two recessed places where the seat hinge should fit. Recessed yes, holes for screws NO! I drilled holes in the barely 1/16th inch thick plastic and attempted to install nutserts for the machine screws. The very thin plastic will not hold the nutsert and it falls out. I called customer spt and was told to use wood screws. I replied that the plastic will not hold wood screws. They did not have any other advice. I have a plan to mount the hinges in a more secure method. It would be nice when you purchase a product, it would come ready to use without having to invest time preparing it before you can use it.RS
