This is a well-made and nice looking product. The fit on the barrel was great as was the fit of the gas tube. It’s always great to have the roll pin included and the light weight design is also a benefit. Costs a little more than other gas blocks but most of the nicer parts for ARs do as well.

Strike receiver extension

This is a very nice extension with some great enhancements. One of those enhancements is a modification that I have made to other extensions on my AR builds. Filing a notch in the front of the extension allows you to screw in the extension further and better capture the buffer retainer . This piece already has an extended notch which you can use to hold the detent down by rotating it slightly either way. This is extremely handy if you are changing buffers and springs. The extra position also gives more adjustability then you would expect.
Aero Precision barrel nut

High quality with a nice finish and a necessity for mounting an Aero Precision handguard on your upper receiver. Was easy to index with the supplied shims and the handguard mounted solidly to it. I had to purchase this to mount a handguard I bought on sale from Aero, fortunatly I was already aware that I was going to need it.

The quality of this item is as good as ones that cost twice as much. Everything fit perfectly and the clamp on type is the only way go, if you have ever messed with a barrel but that refuses to index correctly you know what I'm talking about!

There are other extended or tactical latch products available, some of which I own, but none seem to function as well as the BCM. It costs a little more than some and a lot less than others but you can’t find a better one. Overall I think that BCM products are of a higher quality than most other AR parts suppliers.
AR 308 Enhanced Dust Cover

Easy to install, looks better and works better than the standard metal one, great product! I have replaced the original covers on my two Colt A4s and have used these on three AR15 and two AR10 builds. It doesn’t make any sense to use anything else.
Magpul MOE handguard.

This is the best polymer AR15 furniture available and it is reasonably priced as well. Unless you have a need for the free floating aluminum or composite versions you can’t do better than Magpul. I specifically purchased both of my Colt ARs because they came with Magpul furniture and I bought Magpul for all three ARs I’ve built.
